Late Shri Dharamveer Ananda Dighe Divyang Cricket Tournament

We are excited to announce the grand cricket tournament, the ‘Late Shri Dharamveer Ananda Dighe Divyang Cricket Chashak (Trophy),’ in commemoration of the International Day of Disabled Persons on November 26th and 27th, 2023. Divyang cricketers from across our state will participate, and the sponsorship and donations will serve a noble purpose. This tournament will be arranged every year in the month of November by the name of Shri Dharamveer Ananda Dighe Divyang Cricket Chasak. Sponsorship and donations from this event will be dedicated to three critical areas of our welfare work.

  • We’ll offer scholarships to underprivileged students, particularly the children of widowed women, providing school kits to ensure their education continues unhindered.
  • The sponsorship will enable us to offer financial aid of 50,000 rupees to our SHGs for capital helping 20 widowed women to start businesses and improve their quality of life.
  • The donations will be utilized for organizing health camps, providing free comprehensive healthcare services, and delivering free medicines and free treatment to their doorstep. Your contributions will be instrumental in uplifting livelihoods and enhancing the well-being of those we serve.

Empowering Disabled Athletes in Sports

In our future endeavors, we aspire to expand our sports initiatives beyond cricket, focusing on basketball, hockey, table tennis, badminton, and volleyball for disabled individuals. Our goal is to elevate their morale, identify and nurture talent, and provide opportunities for recognition. By broadening our scope, we aim to reach more individuals, fostering their participation in sports and enabling them to shine on the athletic stage.

Empowering Disabled Entrepreneurs

In our future plans, we aim to further empower disabled individuals through entrepreneurship development by honing their skills. Our vision is to reach out to a wider audience and equip them with the proficiency to not only contribute to society but also become exemplary leaders within their communities. We aspire to see disabled individuals taking the lead and setting an inspiring example for India’s future.

More Power to Women

We are committed to expanding our efforts to empower women in our future inititives. Our mission is to reach out to more women, providing them with the education and skills they need to become self-sufficient and financially independent. By extending our support and resources, we aim to foster a future where women can confidently lead and sustain their lives, contributing to their families and communities with strength and self-reliance.
